I first spotted the fabulous work of Laura Zindel while paging through my beloved Garden & Gun. Mrs. Zindel's handmade ceramics come to life in a 1778 farmhouse located in Guilford, Vermont. What could be more charming? Possibly her collection of timeless and beautiful objects for the home. Do yourself a favor and stroll through her shop. I love that these ceramics manage to be both simple and exquisite simultaneously. Her pieces have serious heirloom potential.

This outfit was perfect for a sunny fall day and a few long hours in an arctic classroom. I cuffed the sleeves of my Saint James tee and paired it with my size-too-small navy J. Crew chinos from high school.

Topped (bottomed?) off with Tory Burch sandals and my usual Timex.

The nails are OPI's Mod About You, which clearly called for a sassy face. Just kidding. This is the face I make 90% of the time.

g2g. Oprah is blowing my mind with Christine who used to be Chris who fathered her own twins, etc., etc., and now the cast of Modern Family!

Mrs. Armour completely made my day when I learned that I was one of the lucky winners of a Southern Proper bow tie! I might have let out a little squeal when I read her e-mail (at my internship nonetheless, so profesh of me). I can't wait to add to my handsome boyfriend's tie collection. I plan on making my man model his new neckwear--when we're not 1,000 miles apart!

I love all things feminine, pretty, floral, and flirty. Add a little whimsy and I'm SOLD. Perhaps that's why I fell in love with Cath Kidston's ladylike home featured in the August/September 2010 issue of Lonny.

If you haven't seen this yet (or even if you have), you MUST watch OK Go's new music video for White Knuckles (and again...and again). It premiered Monday on The Ellen Degeneres Show. How fitting! Who would've thought they could top the infamous treadmill video? I guess a bunch of cute dogs supporting the ASPCA can do that for you...

I seriously doubt that I could pull off the hippie headband look as well as this stylish lady, but I am loving these Berman headbands and accessories. Perfect for all seasons, but especially remarkable for adding that extra glimmer during the holiday season. Sign me up!
